Meet The Organic Music Marketing Team

Cody Patrick , CEO
Cody Patrick is a music industry veteran who has seen his career grow by leaps and bounds in the last 15 years. An Atlanta native, he’s currently part of the A&R team at Asylum Records, owner of the boutique promotion firm Organic Music Marketing, and a frequent collaborator with Resolve Media Group, one of the leaders in Atlanta’s booming video production community. He’s helped direct and produce many hit music videos, including “Bad and Boujee” by Migos, “Broccoli” by DRAM, “Sassy” by Rapsody, and “Jefe” by TI and Meek Mill. Patrick has also worked closely with Future, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, T-Pain, YFN Lucci, Cyhi the Prynce, MAC Miller, Dreezy, and many other major artists. He’s become a respected figure in today’s music business and his star just continues to rise.
Cody discovered his love for music while still in high school, even though he never rapped, sang, or played an instrument. He knew his talents were behind the scenes in business and organization and found his vocation in marketing, promotion, and production. Coming of age in Atlanta, Patrick was exposed to many PR agencies and music marketing groups that couldn’t deliver on the promises they made to their artists. He knew he could do better and started experimenting in his local scene with his own marketing techniques modeled on those of successful record labels. He also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. This gave him the hard knowledge he needed to achieve his goals and he quickly took it back to Atlanta after graduating.
Before long, Patrick was conducting his own promo campaigns and producing significantly better results than the professionals he once depended upon. These successes led him to the launch of Organic Music Marketing, an agency that rapidly became known for consistency and client devotion. Since then, Patrick has planned and executed countless digital marketing campaigns of all kinds and sizes. He provides services that always work and produce a return on investment. His efforts are based in honesty and realness instead of the typical industry games and he only works with performers who have what’s required to reach the top. He has also found success in music video production and has worked extensively with Resolve Media Group, one of Atlanta’s finest production firms.
Patrick recently became part of the A&R team at Asylum Records, where he’ll use his vast industry experience to research and discover potential new artists for the label. He’s always had an ear for new talent and this position is his natural next step. Cody Patrick is a vital figure in the modern music business who has the instincts, training, and credibility to deliver hit after hit. When you’re ready, he’s the one.
